Last weekend, Nate and I took the kids and the dogs to Franconia Falls. It's just east of Lincoln, NH and well worth the trip. In order to get to the falls, you need to hike/bike 3.2 miles on a relatively flat trail. We rode our mountain bikes and it was definitely worth it. It's been wicked humid all summer in NH and I couldn't have imagined walking 3.2 miles. There are a lot of natural slides to slide on and there was a cliff that you could jump off but we didn't discover that until it was time to go home and the camera was dead. If you are looking for something to do, definitely make the trip north!! So much fun!! Here are the pics from the day:
Nate and Bridget went first:

My turn with Bridget... Yes, I'm good at striking a mad pose!
Tyler looks a bit more graceful than I do...
Nate and Tyler with the mountains behind them.
Swim suits don't really help you slide as well as board shorts so some of the slides that the boys thought were awesome weren't as awesome for me... Oh well, next time!
An easy peasy slide with Oakley watching on
Tyler found a pretty fun one...

Scout listening for some wildlife out in the woods...
Sweet Oakley girl...
The dogs LOVED it there!! They were able to play in the water but also got to roam around in the woods a bit. Plus it involved swimming and mountain biking...
Last but not least... YUMMMMMM.... :)
